An Overnight Retreat at The Orchard
Your Winthrop Rockefeller Retreat stay takes place at The Orchard, a historic building built in 1964 that once housed the veterinarians employed by Winrock Farms.
The Orchard is a fully self-contained lodging facility offering:
- 10 private bedrooms, each with its own bath
- Spacious common living area perfect for group conversations and downtime
- Fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals together
- Screened porch and courtyard ideal for morning coffee, quiet evenings, or outdoor dining

Educational Workshops
Each Rockefeller Retreat includes one of our signature educational experiences designed to support leadership development, collaboration, and personal reflection.
Length: 2.5 hours (Indoor or Outdoor)
Journey through the life and leadership of Gov. Winthrop Rockefeller with an Institute staff member as your guide. This experience connects his impactful legacy with key locations across his former ranch and includes:
- Insights into Rockefeller’s continued influence on Arkansas
- Team-building dialogue activities
- Moments of personal reflection
Length: 90 minutes (Indoor, 10 person minimum)
A workshop on how to engage in meaningful and respectful dialogue in order to foster collaboration, promote mutual understanding and resolve conflict. This workshop will be led by an Institute staff member and will take place at The Stables.
Length: 60 minutes (Available for Weekend Retreats Only)

Rockefeller Retreat Pricing
Your retreat package includes one educational workshop and one night of lodging at The Orchard.
Meals are not included, but groups are encouraged to bring their own food and prepare meals together in the kitchen.
Meal kits are available for an additional fee—ask about availability when booking.
