Who has been the most important influence in your life? What legacy did they leave behind, and what legacy do you want to leave for those who follow you?

Walks with the Governor is a leadership development program that, using lessons drawn from the life and legacy of Governor Winthrop Rockefeller, encourages participants to carry forward his approach to changing the world through collaboration. This program is designed to encourage deep personal reflection, team building through candid conversations, and examination of a legacy of change. When delivered on the Institute campus atop Petit Jean Mountain, guests travel to different locations on the Governor’s former homestead and learn about the history of this place. When delivered at your location or in case of inclement weather, we accomplish that same travel via photos and videos.

We cannot lead others until we can lead ourselves. I think that may be the most important truth of all.

Gov. Winthrop Rockefeller
